Thanks, and farewell, to Gillian
Many of you will be aware that after a very successful four and half years here, we are very sad to be losing Gillian. During her time at TSA Gillian has helped the organisation through a difficult period, bringing stability to a changing organisation. She has brought her professionalism to her role, very effectively developing the TSA’s membership engagement and communications.
Gillian has taken the lead role in organising nearly every event that the TSA has managed over the last few years, including our National Conferences, SIG meetings, TRMC and many other ad hoc events – the feedback we have received illustrates how effectively she has done this.
Coordinating a number of members, Gillian has also been instrumental working with companies to develop the Level 2 Apprenticeship and, most recently, she managed the re-development of our website, member portal and MRM (membership management system) to improve member engagement.
Although we are losing Gillian, she is moving to a larger trade association where she will have more leadership opportunities. Her last day with us will be 9th May, following which she is getting married, before starting her new role.
Since we have become aware of Gillian leaving, the TSA has been seeking a successor using a specialist agency in communications, membership and public affairs recruitment. This work is well advanced and we hope we will be able to make an announcement shortly, although it is likely we shall be down one member of staff for just over a month – so please bear with us.
I hope you will join me in passing on our very best wishes to Gillian for both her impending nuptials and her new job.
