MiRiCal Emblems wins Queen’s Award

Nottinghamshire-based screen and digital printer, MiRiCal Emblems Ltd has been awarded the Queen’s Award for enterprise for International Trade. Announced today (Tuesday 23rd April), MiRiCal Emblems is one of only 201 organisations nationally to receive a prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise this year, in recognition of its excellence in exporting.
Textile Services Association's CEO David Stevens, welcomed the news and commented: "It is great to see our Supply Partners' hard work being recognised, and with a Queen's Award no less! My warmest congratulations. Very proud to see MiRiCal promoting British industry around the world."
Established in 1993, MiRiCal is a second-generation family business and leading supplier of heat-applied garment decoration products to the workwear, safetywear and sportswear sectors and employs 55 people in Blidworth near Mansfield in a variety of skilled manufacturing and support roles with a further 12 people employed across Europe in
support of its sales activities.
MiRiCal has been awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise following an exceptional 58% growth in export sales over the last three years with exports now accounting for more than 75% of the company’s total turnover.
Managing Director, Jonathan Dul explained what the Queen’s Award meant for his company, “the Queen’s Award for Enterprise is a real honour that gives national recognition to the hard-working men and women in our team. To have the time and effort spent developing our export business recognised in this way is fantastic news and we want to go forward and continue to build this important area of our business.”
Now in its 53rd year, the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious business awards in the country, with winning businesses able to use the esteemed Queen’s Awards emblem for the next five years.
